boulangerie goût

Boulangerie Goût is about a 5 minutes walk from Osaka castle.

I enjoyed their balsamic chicken tartine which had mushrooms and potato on it too. The chicken wasn't vinegar-y and I liked that they had a lot of cheese on the tartine.

The fig danish was flaky and I appreciated that they used a lot of figs.

I'll be back.

The fig pastry looks delish, but what a strange name for a restaurant!

Had to think twice as to why the previous poster thought the name was so strange. Totally forgot about the english definition because when it comes to anything french, it's all about goût!

actually I forgot to post the name in french Hanna, goût in french means taste :)

yeah, Hanna's comment made me think about it all day today, Rowena, figured it out and adjusted the post :)

Take care you two.

Too funny -- I never think about how much an accent affects a word when I am leaving them out! I have a relative with gout and have had a lot of food based discussions about it, so I guess I have 'gout' on the brain as well :)

Funny, I had to do a double take on that name as well.
